SEWAC-B is an autonomous, non-profit organization dedicated to empowering working women from marginalized sections of society in Bengaluru, India. Our mission is to provide these women with opportunities and resources to improve their lives and the lives of their families. Over the years, we have initiated and managed a variety of impactful programs to support our community. Among our notable efforts is the operation of a creche and a primary school, ensuring that children receive quality care and education from an early age.
Additionally, we offer computer & lifeskills programmes for women, equipping them with essential skills to enhance their employability and independence. Our Information series aim to equip them with knowledge. Overall our programmes boost their confidence and communication abilities, which are crucial for personal and professional growth.
To impact individuals and communities to raise consciousness, self-esteem, confidence, and aspirations to change their world, and provide them the knowledge, skills, and capabilities to do so.
Beehive School was started in 2001 for children around the Guddadahalli area in Bengaluru. The school follows the Montessori method of education and the medium of instruction is English.
We offer Nursery, Lower Montessori and Upper Montessori classes. It has now grown to a capacity of 130 students with four teachers and two helpers.
