Our Team
The teachers and staff at SEWAC-B bring out the best in the children and create the right environment.
Most of our teachers are qualified for teaching in the Montessori method. The helpers have previous experience and have had training in SEWAC-B. Our Teachers, Administrator, Helpers and Cooking staff play a huge role in running the school and creche effectively.
Padmavathi
Principal
Padmavathi joined the BeeHive school in 2016. She comes to us with a rich teaching experience of 7.5 years. She has had training in BMTT, MCC and Phonics workshop in ACT. Her educational experience includes BA, DCA.
As somebody who enjoys drawing, she encourages and guides children in this activity, besides her other responsibilities.
Rajeshwari A
Teacher, BeeHive School
Rajeshwari joined SEWACB in 2023. Before joining the BeeHive school she taught at Krishi Bharti School for 2 years and Affal International School for a year. She completed her Nursery Teacher Training in 2017. She likes to work with children and enjoys crafts very much, making it an enriching learning experience for children. Her hobbies include reading books and newspaper.
Ponnamma K.K.
Teacher, BeeHive School
Ponnamma joined SEWAC-B in 2017. She had a rich experience of 7 years before joining us. Having done her BA, she also qualified herself with B.M.T.T., M.C.C Training and the Phonics Workshop in ACT. Her special skills and interests include tailoring and drawing. Teaching the children is a joy to her. Her drawing hobby is very useful to the school and the children.
Mohini
Teacher, BeeHive School
Mohini joined in 2019 and has been a teacher for the last two years. She has attended workshops and training programs such as the MCC training for 30 days and the 2-day Phonics Workshop from ACT. Before that she was the librarian at SEWAC-B, which has a quite a substantial library. Mohini has a Diploma in Library Science and a Diploma in Computer Applications.
She is a qualified Yoga instructor and teaches yoga in the school as well.
Vishalakshi
Teacher, Cocoon Creche
Vishalakhi joined SEWAC-B’s Cocoon Creche as a teacher in 2022. She teaches and manages the creche children with the help of other staff.
She joined SEWAC-B after 3 years of teaching experience at other schools in Bangalore.
Vishala has done her Montessori training (MCC). She has a B.Com degree and DCA in Computers. At Unnati, she has done a Lifeskills training programme to grow personally.
Her hobbies include crafts besides listening to music.
Bhagyalakshmi
Administrator
Bhagyalakshmi is the administrator for SEWAC-B since 2017. She takes care of general administration which comes with many responsibilities such as managing the school and creche premises – cleanliness, repairs and more; coordinating with outside agencies like the banks, Registrar of Societies, the Department of Women and Child etc. For the last 7 years, she has been managing the admission process and keeping accounts for all our projects.
Bhagya is also a trained Montessori teacher and has completed Life Skills & Computer Training programme at the Unnati Skill Centre.
